I forced myself to make a head canon this week! AND THIS CAME OUT OF MY BRAIN!
Growing up, Lin never had to face the ‘boogyman’ or any other mythical creatures. No, her mother always tried to scare her with the infamous “Melon Lord” act. This tactic usually did work in scaring her daughter in doing her chores and eating her vegetables. It was ‘sweet’ for Toph.
But eventually this ‘melon lord’ effect started wearing off Lin, mainly because Toph kept grabbing the wrong fruit…
I wonder if I can crank out more head canons…
I have to say, no matter what comes outta canon, Toph will still end up being The Best Parent.
I mean, c’mon, it’s Toph.
